It is time for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I love this challenge and if you have not checked it out I would highly recommend it. Today could not be a better day to start.
We are visiting a Pinterest site that is all about Doors. I picked this pin for inspiration. Although I do not have the same amount of snow, I do have snow falling lightly, and bits of snow that has gathered on leaves and pieces of the tree barks using Bleed Proof White paint.
It is always fun to sit at my desk and stare out the window, as I always find inspiration that way. When I was making this card it was snowing and I mean snowing! We ended up the next morning with a lot of the beautiful white sparkly fluffy stuff.
And that is how this card came about, made for Day 20 of the Scrap'n Stamp Random Act of Cardness challenges, which is "SNOW", duly marked on my reminder below.
Time for our watercolour challenge at Splitcoaststampers. On a lighter note today we are doing Watercolour Powder Resist. The video for this technique you can find here.
I am using Nuvo Shimmer Powder. Despite all the colours seen in the Christmas card I made above, I used only one powder, called Catherine Wheel.
