Christmas Thanks

Today's card is my sample for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers. The cards for today are very easy to make, which is perfect for this time of year. You can find the video here.

I am finished my Christmas cards but I do need some thank you cards, which is what I decided to paint. Easy, a vase with gold trim, cut twigs stuck in the vase with some berries.

And the case is sitting on a table with a cloth, also used to write the sentiment.

The Arches watercolour card is 3 x 4.5 inches. I have attached it to a Gina K Design card base and I used a gold gelli roll pen to go around the watercolour card.

For my watercolour I used Daniel Smith paints in Jadeite Genuine, Burnt Umber, Pyrrol Scarlet, and Cascade Green. I used a gold Sakura Metallic gel roll pen on the top of the vase. The Cascade Green has that beautiful blue/green appearance.

I probably made the twigs a tad small, but that's okay. It still makes for a pretty picture.

I attached my Arches card to a Gina K Design card base, then drew around the edge using a ruler to keep my gold Sakura metallic pen away from the watercolour card.

Then using my Micron fine tip marker I printed the Thank you on either side of the vase.

I think it is a great idea for an easy card and will make a few more to send out.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are the products I used to make this card and affiliate links at no extra cost to you.
