We are delighted to have several guests joining us this month, in addition to our regular designers. Here's the full hop order, in case you get lost along the way:

Back to the card I made for today's hop. I very much wanted to do an interactive card as it has been a very long time since I have made one. For my card today I picked stamps and dies by Lawn Fawn.
To start this card I first die cut the striped designer paper (which is from my stash) using the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel,

In my mini Misti using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black I then stamped and fussy cut the dog, dressser and snow globe from the Little Snow Globe stamp set, and proceeded to colour using Copic markers as follows:

Globe E25, Y32; Hat R27, R24, R05; Dresser BV34, BV23, BV31; Dog C1, C3, C5, R22; Dial Symbol B39.
I also coloured the images inside the wheel, first the Snowman is B02, B00, B000; Tree YG07, G09 and E27; on the House I ued B0000 for the snow part of roof; the Roof E23, the House E31, Gingerbread E13, E23 and R05; Sky N02, B00, B01. I also used Gelly Roll Stardust pens on the front door and in the windows of the House.

I then cut the papers for the floor and the baseboard molding from the designer papers and die cut the items necessary to put together the wheel, being the scalloped die and the smaller circle die, both in white cardstock and a single brad.
There are a host of Lawn Fawn videos done for every Reveal Wheel configeration on YouTube under the Lawn Fawn brand. They make putting the wheel together super easy.

I put together my wheel and attached the designer papers in place. I also attached the direction sign for turning the wheel with Art Glitter glue and finished by stamping the sentiment adding it with foam squares.
Already I found a mistake. I failed to add in the tail wag symbol, which is too cute! I will do that now, but taking all the pictures again and adding my name, blah blah blah! Please forgive me.

I certainly hope you have enjoyed this card today. Putting it all together has been a fun undertaking for me.

Up next is Kilbur.

See you next time!

  10. Your puppy is quite enjoying the changing scenes in the snow globe! Such a fun, festive interactive card! I think we can 'imagine' the tail wag even without the stamp; I mean, look at that smiling face...that says 'happy' all over! Thank you for the inspiration!
