Pumpkin Watercolour

This painting is for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Brenda is our hostess this week and she has picked Pumpkins painted by Dina Kowal as our challenge this week.

I watched Dina's video with interest, then went about doing my own thing! I really wanted my leaves far more abstract, but they are what they are, and I do think they add a bit of humour to my painting.

I watercoloured using Daniel Smith watercolours in Transparent Pyroll Orange, Organic Vermillion, Quinacridone Burnt Orange, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna, Green Apatite Genuine, Cascade Green, Serpentine Green, Sap Green and Green Gold.

My brushes are Escoda and I used Escoda Reserva Kolinsky-Tajmyr # 6 for this painting, and Arches cold press watercolour paper 130lb.

This is a fun watercolour so I encourange you to give it a go. I am sure your leaves will be much better looking than mine - lol! *After living with this for a bit, I could no longer stomach the leaves and had to change it out. So easy to do with watercolour.

Thank you for your visit today.

See you next time.
