Take 2 Precious Peony

Meet "Take 2 Precious Peony".

When I posted my card-share with you last week I might have mentioned I would share another card using the Altenew Precious Peony set of stamps, and here she is. I watched a Gina K Design video where she highligted this technique of Double Gatefold card and wanted to give it a try.

This is another of the florals that is included in the beautiful set called Precious Peony by Altenew, and I was determined that I would colour using blue and purple for this. I love the look and hope you do too.

I used Copics to colour, using B02, B04 and B06 for the bottom flower and B06, B18 and B99 for the top flower. For the leaves I used V01, V04, V06, V17 and BG15.
With this being a double Gatefold card it is a little tricky to photograph with natural light. I hope it gives you the idea of the fold, and how it looks, which I just love. That Gina K is brilliant is she not?

For layering I used Neenah card for my base, with Spellbinders cardstock in Island View for matting and for the top layer I used Hammermill cardstock embossed using Spellbinders Bamboo Trellis embossing folder.
I did the same for the card inside and added a sentiment which says "Have a Beautiful Day". The sentiments on the outside are both the same, saying "Be Amazed" by Tim Holtz. My thinking was be amazed at this beautiful day.

I considered a few sequins, but nixed that idea. I think the card is busy enough and I have always liked the look of white!
Thank you very much for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
