Peony Hugs

Meet "Peony Hugs".

I am so addicted to this Altenew Precious Peony, so another card using one of the images. You all know how much I love colour, and this card is all about colour today. Something I just noticed now though is I missed a petal on the smaller flower. Well darn it all, I need to fix that!
I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today we are visiting lumas.com where I picked this image for the colours.

To colour I used Copic markers on a piece of Hammermill cardstock. The colours are: Flowers are YR68, YR16, YR04, R05; RV13, RV21, RV3, R14; Y08; Leaves are G09, G17; B18 and B28.
I then die cut the hugs sentiment x 3, and the shadow bottom portion, which I sponged using Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink.

I attached the Hammermill card piece to my Neenah cardbase, then glued in place the shadow portion on the bottom part of the card. I glued the 3 piece sentiment together, then attached it in place using glue.
For the inside of the card I sponged around the edges of a piece of Hammermill card for matting purposes, then attached a second piece of Hammermill for the sentiment.

For a bit of glam I added Pinkfresh Ombre Glitter drops - they are blue and green, perfect for this card. There is also silver and blue included.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card, yes as much as I enjoyed making it. lol

See you next time.
