Awe Sheep

This is "Awe Sheep".

It is that time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week Brenda is our hostess and she has picked this fun watercolour for us to do.

This was certainly a relaxing watercolour to do today. I loved the look of the blues/greens/turquoise sheep so decided that is where I would go.
I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper for my painting today, along with Escoda brushes in sizes 4 and 8.

My watercolours are Daniel Smith, being from left to right Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine Turquoise, Indanthrone Blue, Amazonite Genuine and Mayan Blue Genuine. The top two sheep are done using the Ultramarine Turquoise. For the legs I used Jane's Grey and added touches of Quinacridone Rose on the ears and cheeks.
I added the decorations to the sheep using a white gel pen. I think this adds great fun to the design.
The faces I just love, they seriously crack me up.

Overall it certainly was a fun painting to do on a lazy Tuesday afternoon.

I hope you get a giggle too, thank you for dropping by.

See you next time.
