This is "Maple Leaf".
This card was done for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Stacy is our hostess today and she has picked this video.
I went my own way with this leaf. Rather than have a lot more yellow showing, I did only a bit. Our leaves are all yellow already, but I wanted to see a red Maple Leaf.
That is the nice part of watercolour, you can paint what you want. lol
I painted using Arches cold press watercolour paper along with Daniel Smith watercolours. I did follow the instructions with respect to the veins, which I found interesting. Maybe when I have a minute I will do another with more yellow.
