Impression Obsession January Favourite

We have set aside today to share our Favourite from the latest release. I have several favourites, but certainly this Valentine Flower is in the top 3.

For today's hop we will be giving away 3 (three) grab bags, so be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win.

There are many ways to use it, some being different, which is what I have done.

Using Arches cold press watercolour paper I put down some colour  using Daniel Smith Transparent Pyrrol Orange. I dried the colour then applied a layer of Pearlescent Shimmer and again let dry. To finish the background I did small splatters using Iridescent Ruby watercolour.

Once all was dry with the background I moved on to stamping the Floral Heart, which I did using clear embossing powder. Why clear? As you can see I used another method to bring our the pretty design.

I traced all of the embossing lines using the Orange and Pink from the Sakura Stardust, then added in the White Sakura Pen, which gives a different look that I quite like. This card is for a female friend, and I think it works perfectly for that.

I attached foam tape to the back of the panel and attached it to a white card base, keeping the card very clean. I also opted to not add a sentiment, but save it instead for the inside.

Thank you for your visit today. For ease of reference, following is a list of those participating in today's hop.
