Meet "Christmouse Holly".
The minute I saw this image it was a "had to have"!. It is clearly, so very cute and I love all things "mouse". I find it rare to find really cute "mouse" images.
This is a digital image so I printed the image to prepare for colouring. I knew I wanted his coat to be red, and he was done in the brown shades.
The cherries I did in the reds and the holly leaves in shades of green with the branch being coloured in browns.
The last bit of colouring was the background, which I did using a Copic B32 marker. I applied 3 layers of the B32 to give a cohesive appearance.
I then framed the piece using Red Velvet cardstock by Gina K Designs followed by adding foam strips to the back of the image.
I attached the layers of card to the white Neenah card base using the foam strips. Turning to the inside of the card I had this scene printed out and sitting on my desk so I decided I would use it.
It is so darn cute I wanted to be sure I would use it. I do hope you enjoy it as well.
Thank you for visiting with me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
See you next time.
