The Fox

Meet "The Fox".

This is from Penny Black "Masterpieces Made Simple" line of cards and is called Critter Cuddles. I bought a series of the cards and I have one more left to use, which I will do shortly as it is a winter shot.

For this card I matted using various colours of green card stock, and added an orange to the mix which I made using Copic marker YR16.

Using Art Glitter glue I glued the layers together, which I continued on the inside of the card to keep everything in balance.

I have to say I adore this Fox and the way he is water coloured. Notice how the water colour bounces up off the green grass to his chest, so beautifully done!

I do have some stamps of a fox, so I should really get them out and have a go.

The blue's and grey added to the scene give the feel of the winter cold perfectly, and I love the falling branches from the trees.

Truly I want to water colour like this!

To finish my card I stamped the Happy Winter sentiment which is from Lawn Fawn Snow Globe sentiments.
