Meet "Glorious Day".
This is the Peony Betterpress plate where I have used with some rich colours to put it all together. Most unusual for me are the yellows, I do not often use this colour.
First I had made the background using Pinkfresh Ink in Raspberry Bliss. I love this deep beautiful colour and I love it used for the background of this card.
When I go looking at cards that have been made, they all seem to have black backgrounds. That became boring for me, so I opted for this rich raspberry colour.
Once the pressplate using the raspberry colour was completed I cleaned the plate. This colour does stain the press plate, but it does not damage the plate.
I started the Copic colouring using the yellow shades, being Y06, Y08, Y13, Y18 and Y35. For the greens I used YG13, YG17 and YG63.
I cut the completed Peony to fit the front of my card leaving an edge of 1/4" all around. I then stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
To attach to the card on the front I used foam strips, and for the inside of the card I glued the sentiment in place using Art Glitter glue.
I do hope you enjoy this card and the colours.
Thank you for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
