Autumn Days

 

Meet "Autumn Days".

It is only mid September yet already we feel the cool days of Autumn coming in to greet us. I admit, fall is my favourite time of year and if I had my way, all we would have would be fall.

I die cut a slew of these leaves from the Spellbinders "Autumn Leaves" set of dies, then coloured them using Copic markers.

My colours are Copic markers in YR68, R46, Y35, R39. RV99. E53, YG67 and RV17.

My card base is from Gina K Designs called Grass Green. I layered a piece of white cardstock using foam tape to my card base then attached the leaves going around the card edge.

I then layered another piece of card using Spellbinders Stylish Oval dies, again using foam tape to attach to the card front which I stamped the sentiment on which is from Amazon..

Yes, it is rare I buy from Amazon, but sometimes I find stamps there that I love, and this font on this stamp was one of those.

It looks like Autumn to me! I also like all the layers this card has, that too is something I don't do a lot, mostly as it makes the card too thick for mailing. This one will be given to recipient.

I stamped the sentiment inside the card using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and added the birdhouse as well, stamped in the same ink.

To finish I attached another leaf to the top right of the card.
