I did this watercolour painting for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoastampers.com. I liked it except for the top book, which I think looks strange.

In any event, it is what it is. I used Daniel Smith watercolours on Arches cold press watercolour paper for this painting.

I did paint the book pages using a mix of colours creating the beige appearance. Some of the books are facing the front and others have the pages showing.

I attached the painting to a Neenah card base and wrote "Books" along the bottom of the painting.

I made this card size, being 5.5" tall and 4.25", using Art Glitter glue to glue the front to my card to the Neenah card.
