Meet "Made with".
You are no doubt asking what that statement means. It is "Washi Tape". I have never used Washi Tape before, let along used it to make a card.
But, there is a first time for everything! The washi tape I used is by "Whispering Valley", which comes with a story to tell.
I applied the tape to a 5.25 x 4.0 inch Hammermill card panel, and it fit perfectly. I started with the line of trees and ended with the same line of trees to keep continuity.
I then ran the finished piece through my embossing machine using Spellbinder's "Argyle Socks" embossing folder.
I did the same with the panel for the inside of my card using the same "Argyle Socks" embossing folder and a blue piece of card which I had previously made.
This was a lot of fun and I very much enjoyed putting this card together. Yes, I was surprised at how enjoyable making this card was.
Lining the wash tape up was not hard at all, it just seemed to go down easily and straight.
I added the sentiment strip by Creative Expression using thin foam squares, which added a bit more dimension.
Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
