Watercolour Technique

 

It is my turn today for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. I picked this video for our lesson today. Yes, I really struggled with this, but I am happy that I at least tried.

For colours I used Daniel Smith Opera Pink and Quinacridone Pink along with Green Apetite and Olive and some Manganese Blue. To get the deeper colour on the stem I painted it several times using the Green Apetite.

I am not too impressed with my painting! I think it is the balance that I am not fussed about as it feels out of balance to me.

Alas I gave it a shot, but think I like the way I watercolour more than using this technique.
