Meet "Hello Friend".
I wanted to colour this rose for my card today, which is from the Peony Bouquet set by Altenew. It has to be one of my favourite small roses.
I often find small items in the large sets of stamps which I love to use on my cards. This card is showing the Rose along with leaf die cuts of greenery.
I coloured using Copic markers in RV02, RV04; YG23 and YG25.
For the background I used a Spellbinders embossing folder called "Tufted" which I think works well with this look.
I attached the elements using foam strips which is easy to use given its narrow nature.
Using a set by Hero Arts called Wild Flowers I stamped and die cut the sentiments using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
I then attached the pieces to my card front using thin foam strips.
For the inside I cut a piece of the "tufted" embossed piece of card and attached it to the card inside, which also had a piece of 5.4 square inch already attached.
I coloured the Rose to appear like it was just blooming instead of totally open, just for a change.
This was another fun card to make and I do hope you enjoy it as well. I am sorry this post is so late, my body seemed to require a sleep in this morning - sigh!
