Black and White

This is "Black and White".

How original of me! I could not come up with a better name though, so I left it as is. Today we are visiting Casely.com.   My inspiration for this card came from this phone case

For my design I used stencils by Stampers Anonymous along with leaves from an older Gina K Designs set.

I stencilled the flowers and stamped the leaves using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. The stencil work did not turn out as dark as I wanted so I went over each piece using my Copic marker in 100, including the leaves.

Once I finished colouring everything I was happy with the look. They were dark enough for the look I was wanting to achieve.

I then attached each of the panels to my Neenah card base, then added splatters to the front of the card. For some reason they look blue, but they are a really light grey.

I did the same for the panel to use inside the card. Using black cardstock I then stamped the sentiments for the front and inside card, heat embossing with white embossing powder.

The stamp set is from Honey Bee stamps called My Favorite Flower.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
