Meet "Unleash Joy".
I could not resist making this card today. I very much miss my little dog, but I do not miss walking her in the dark, which I did 3 out of 4 times in a day in the winter months.
Back to my card. My Favorite Things does not make this stamp set any longer, but that does not mean I cannot use it. Every now and then I think it is fun to bring out the older stamps to play.
And, I am still using items that are available in the present like Tim Holtz watercolour paper which I used on the front of this card trimmed with Lawn Fawn cardstock in Blue Jay.
I used Daniel Smith watercolours to paint the dogs and accessories. Once all was dry I went over the colours using clear Wink of Stella then attached the panel using Art Glitter glue.
I then added the animals using foam squares and stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip Red on the front and the Tulip Red inside the card along with Blue Belle.
I added some splatters to the top of the card, covering up the sentiment and the panel when doing so as I did not want the splatters in the sentiment or on the scene.
I used distress oxide ink in Blueprint Sketch to do the splatters.
I did not use watercolour paper inside the card, so I applied the Blueprint sketch direct to paper and attached a couple of the dogs using thin foam squares.
Thank you for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
