Meet "Christmas Gnomb".
This stamp and die are by Picket Fence Studios and so remind me of a friend of mine and his white beard that I had to make this for his Christmas card this year.
I started by stamping the Gnomb using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and proceeded to colour using Sharpie fine markers. For a bit of sparkle I added Wink of Stella in gold to the hat.
Although it is hard to see I coloured the beard using a white Posca pen and added hints of the grey with a pencil.
On the background I added Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink applying as evenly as possible.
I then stamped the fun sentiment that comes with the set using Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder.
I propped the background up on foam tape, then added the Gnomb, which is also propped up on foam tape. I added a bunches of gems from Pinkfresh and finished with the Christmas sentiment.
On the inside I applied the Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink along with the sentiment which is from an older set by Paper Rose.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card as I certainly enjoyed making it.
See you next time.
