Snowy Forest

 

It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week Angela is our hostess and she has us painting this Snowy Forest.

I could not look at that tree any longer, something needed to be done. So, I started over again, and I think I have done this one a bit better than the last.

I used the same colours, being French Ultramarine and Prussian Blue, watering down the French Ultramarine to take the place of the Payne's Gray the Artist used in her painting.

I also did not like the colour around the bauble, so I watered down the French Ultramarine water colour and painted a light coat which I am happier with.

Using a white gel pen I then added the light snow falling, which is also in the other areas, but it does not show up as well.

I also changed out the finial from the previous one.
