Noel and Joy

Meet "Noel and Joy".

Yes, I am having a good giggle with this stamp set by AALL and Create, #611. It was so fun to create this scene around these Reindeer.
To start this card I first did the trees in the background starting with Hammermill cardstock and continuing with A Colorful Life Design stencil called Jointed Tree.

The colours I used for the trees are Distress Oxide inks in Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness and Vintage Photo, stenciling three across the page.
In my mini Misti I stamped the Reindeer and hats and coloured with Copic markers in G02, G03, G05; and B05 over G03. I added C3 on the tips of the fur.

For the reindeer I used E17, E15 and E18 with R22 added for the ears. Once all the colouring was done I fussy cut the reindeer and the hats.
Years back I bought a number of dies that cut snow hills and valleys etc. I put them together in one package and have not a clue who made what! But, I digress, that is what I used to make the snow hill for the bottom part of my card.

Using foam squares I then attached the reindeer in place, and added the caps, also using foam squares.
In finishing I stamped the two sentiments, which I decided were the names of the reindeers, using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.

Thank you for your visit today. I appreciate it very much.

See you next time.
