Birds on a Branch

Meet "Birds on a Branch".

This painting I have done for our Watercolour Wednesday Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com this week. I am hosting this challenge and have picked this video. I first drew out the birds following the picture.
I found this to be a relaxing watercolour to paint today, except for that red bird. He seems to be on a diet, either that or the bird to his left is squishing him!!

To watercolour I used Daneil Smith watercolours in Cobalt Blue, Transparent Pyrrol Orange, Quinacridone Gold and Hansa Yellow, Ultramarine Turquoise and Alizarin Crimson. The talons, eyes and beaks were done using Payne's Grey.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this watercolour piece.

See you next time.
