Day Two for Scrapn Stamp

This is "Day Two".

A slimline card I have done for the Scrap'n Stamp 12 Days of Christmas event. This card is for Day Two.
I saw a card done by Tae-Eun Yoo similar to this, which is where the idea for this card came from. I could not remember her name at first so had to do a search to find her and say thanks.

In my original Misti I stamped the Holly, keeping the stamps position in the same spot for all four impressions, on two different pieces of hot press watercolour paper.
To change it up a bit I reversed the colour layers, with the sold blue on the top and the green and red piece on the bottom. For the top panel I painted the background using Kuretake Zig markers in 030 Blue and 035 Deep Blue moving from a darker to lighter layers.

The leaves and berries are done using 041 Light Green, and 022 Carmine Red.
On the background piece I pulled some of the red from the berries, allowing it to spread out, then did splatters using the red markers in 022 Carmine and Deep Red 268.

For the inside I stamped the Holly a bit higher than I did on the front of the card, and painted below it with the 030 and 035 blues, then stamped the sentiment just above the Holly.
When all was finished and dry I glued the top piece to the bottom piece, then attached them to my Neenah cardbase, doing the same for the piece I did inside the card.
