Brrr

Meet "brrr".

It certainly is chilly in my neck of the woods today. I had to turn the heat up, very unusual for me.

This card I have made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com this week, which I am hosting. I have picked Spirit of Christmas as my site to visit this week. This store is located in Alberta, and has a lot to inspire.
I picked this Snowman for my inspiration, mostly because I had another one of the Bloomar chipboard pieces to use. For this piece I used glitter markers to colour and painted over the completed piece with shimmer pen.

For the background I once again used my favourite embossing folder, Sizzix Winter Snowflakes along with a cardstock from the Lawn Fawn Let it Shine 6x6 paper pack, which I spritzed on the front and back before running it through my Gemini Jr., then attching to my Neenah cardbase using Nuvo adhesive.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment on the card front using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle. I then cut a piece of card for the inside, attached some of the designer paper, and stamped a sentiment from the Picket Fence inside Christmas sentiments stamp set.

I must say, that stamp set has been a life saver this year for use inside my cards. I have used it a lot.
The Nuvo Shimmer pen was not showing up very well on the circle element, so I applied another two layers to the piece. It shows now, but not in the picture!

This is a simple ard that goes together quickly, thanks to the chipboard Santa.
I have a few more that I will be using this year.

Thank you for visiting today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you. I thank you so much for using my links.
