Happy Fall

"Happy Fall!"

Welcome to the Scrap'n Stamp Colour of Fall hop. The design team have been busy preparing their cards for this event, which I am sure you will all enjoy.
There is a prize draw for this event, a $50.00 gift certificate to the Scrap'n Stamp Canada Shop. To qualify leave a comment on each of the designers post. You can also find me on Instagram @kiagibsonclapper  The giveaway closes September 24, 2022 at Midnight EST. The winner will be chosen randomly and posted on the Scrap'n Stamp blog.

For my card today I am using Lawn Fawn's Simple Stitched Tree Border die, along with dies from Honey Bee Stamps and Concord and 9th.
To start I first sponged on distress oxide squeezed lemonade at the bottom of the card up to almost the half mark, then sponged on tumbled glass distress oxide ink for the top portion.

I then die cut the trees from Neenah card and sponged on the inks to the tree base, being walnut stain. For the grass mound I used twisted citron, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness distress oxide inks. I also added dirt around the tree base by taping with a sponge dauber.
For the tree leaves using my ink brushes I lightly pounced on the colours, which are from left to right:

squeezed lemonade and carved pumpkin oxide ink; then mustard seed and candied apple oxide ink; moving to picked raspberry and wilted violet distress oxide ink; twisted citron and mowed lawn oxide ink and ripe persimmon and carved pumpkin oxide inks.

I then added the colours to the rainbow, using wilted violet distress oxide, candied red oxide ink and carved pumpkin oxide ink.
For my sentiment I am using the dies from Concord and 9th. I die cut the pieces I needed and sponged on mowed lawn distress oxide ink to all except for the "A" of word Fall, which I coloured with carved pumpkin distress oxide ink.

To put it all together I attached the rainbow first to the card base using Nuvo adhesive. I then attached the tree line using foam tape behind both the lawn part and the trees. I then glued on the Happy Fall sentiment.

Hop list follows:

I really like the way it turned out, and I hope you do as well. Thanks for dropping by.
