Beautiful Colour

Meet "Beautiful Colour".

It is that time of the week to post for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting today's challenge and have picked Thisisj for inspiration. I found my inspiration on their Pinterest Board.
Using a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and on Neenah cardstock I used distress inks for this card. The colours are: barn door, twisted citron, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, kitsch flamingo, abandoned coral, squeezed lemonade and saltwater taffy.

I allowed a few overlaps of the inks, but as I did cover most of the stencil as I added the colour, there is not a lot. Wish I had more acutally, I think it would add more interest.
When I finished the colour application I placed the card in my mini Mistiand stamped the sentiment using Memento Ink in Rhubarb Stalk.

And to finish up I added scrapbook.com Pops of Color in Rudolph Red, Unicorn Tears and Holly Green in a few places.
The colouring I did a bit differently than my inspiration piece as I did not have the space available. But I do like the results, and think for the inside I will add a piece of of cardstock sized to 5.25 x 4.00 and add some of the light colours before adding a sentiment.

I can think of several people who I think would enjoy this clean and simple card, so it will be off in the mail shortly.
Thank you for joining me today.
