A Gift for You

This is "A Gift for You".

This is such a sweet die set by Penny Black that I so enjoyed using for this card. The set includes the leaf, little berry branch, ribbon bow, and present.
To start this card I am using Neenah 110lb. card stock, I die cut two of the background panels using a Penny Black die set, one for the card front and one for the inside.

I attached the background panel, then die cut the gift boxes from Lawn Fawn designer paper, using one in the Navy and Gold and the other in White and Gold designer paper.
To get a sense of my design I positioned the packages where they looked the best, then proceeded to die cut the ribbon bows, small berry branch, small leaf, large berry branch and the Joy sentiment x 3.

Using my glitter markers I coloured each of the pieces using the gold and red markers. Yes, that leaf was done using the gold marker and yes I asked it what it was doing?? It did not answer.
The larger berry branch is from a landscape set by Penny Black, so it is big. I cut it down and arranged it in the background of my card along with the packages, gluing the blue package and using foam tape for the white package.

I arranged the ribbons, and the leaf and small berry branch in place, then glued everything in place. The sentiment die was cut three times and the top piece coloured with the red glitter maker. I glued them together then attached them to the card.
The Joy die I used is an older Paper Rose die, but I did find a newer small one which I linked below. I have a larger Joy sentiment die, but it would over power the card.

I love how this turned out, and I hope you too have enjoyed the process.
Thank you for joining me today.
