It is the final day of our 12 Days of Inspiration Christmas in July. If you have followed this you have seen all the beautiful cards that have been made to inspire you.
Here is the first card I have made for the event. Eat, Drink and Be Tacky! lol In keeping with the sentiment, I did "tacky", or my version of it! Bold papers to go with my boldy coloured sweaters, what could be more tacky.
And the inside, just a bit more tacky using the bold colours and another one of the sentiments that come with the set, which I just love.
The sweater paper is attached to my pink cardbase, with the 4.5"square striped piece attached via foam tape. Then the frames are coloured with Copics and added to the card using Nuvo adhesive.

I added the sweaters using foam dots along with a few gems to finish.
This is "Ugly Sweater".

After making the above card I thought I should to a card that was toned down a tad, hence this card done in the calming blues and greens.
Again, this card is 5.5"square and the papers come from the Christmas Party 6x6 pad, which is full of fabulous papers.

The sentiment is also part of the stamp set and I thought perfect for this particular card. The papers are layered and the top circle is attached using foam tape, with the sweather and hat on foam squares.
I added a few gems to finish the front of the card.

For the inside of this card I again layered the papers, then added another smaller circle die with the sentiment stamped and attached to the circle.

Clearly, I had a lot of fun making these cards and actually look forward to making a few more.
