Aster Hello

Let me introduce "Aster Hello".

This is my sample for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting today's challenge and have picked a Canadian family owned business called Linen Chest. They also have a wonderful Pinterest site.
For my card I used this Sachet for inspiration, as I loved the colours.

I am using Neenah cardstock for this card. I started with the negative mask from A Colorful Life Designs Marvelous Masks deckled rectangles, brushing toward the centre of the card using Squeezed Lemonade Oxide.
On a separate piece of Neenah card I used the positive of the deckled mask rectangle for the inside of the card, using the same ink, being Squeezed Lemonade Oxide.

I then die cut the Aster floral die 4 times using Hammermill cardstock. I kept one of the die cuts complete, and cut apart the other 3 keeping the flower petals.
To colour the petals I used Copic markers in BG01, BG02 and BG45. The greenery was done using YG05, YG07 and YG09.

Using foam squares I attached the main die cut to the card front. Using Nuvo adhesive I then added the petals and topped with Studio Katia gems.
For finishing I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee Modern Spring collection, using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze, then die cut and attached it to the card using foam strips.

On the inside I used a Honey Bee stamp set thanking my friend for her kindness. I have linked to the set that I used below.

Thank you for visiting today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card at no extra expense to you.
