Flamingo Dance

This is "Flamingo Dance".

This card is done on behalf of A Colorful Life Designs showing how I used a portion of the stencil in my design.
I wanted to use this sweet Flamingo in my design along with a stencil and decided to use the Potholder stencil again. Can you tell I love this stencil?

Laying the stencil on my card panel, I taped off the area I did not want in the design, opting for a triangle look. I then added the paste and quickly removed the stencil to clean.
Once the paste was dry, on my work surface I put down some squeezed lemonade distress ink and spritzed it lightly with water, then added the colour to the stencil area with my paint brush.

Moving on in my mini Misti I stamped the Flamingo on to Arches cold press watercolour paper and watercoloured the Flamingo using distress inks in Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick with a bit of Squeezed Lemonade.
Once dry I die cut the Flamingo using the coordinating die.

I then added the splatters to the card panel using the same colours found in the flamingo along with a dark grey. On the card base I sponged on distress ink in Squeezed Lemonade. I then attached the panel using foam tape and drew around the card with a thick black Sharpie.
To finish up in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then added a few sequins and gems for a bit of sparkle.

Thanks so much for joining me today.
