Rainbows

Meet "Rainbows".

I think eveyone loves a rainbow and I thought this mini slimline coverplate would look great with the rainbow colours behind it.
This card I have done for this week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting this challenge and have picked a Canadian Store that I just love, and often shop at called "Simons".

You can access the store here, or their Pinterest page here. My inspiration for this card came from these corn holders.
I kept forgetting to use this plate, shame on me. It is now on sale at Scrapbook.com, so it is a good time to get it for your collection.

Using distress inks and brushes I applied the rainbow colours to my card base. I then die cut the cover plate using Neenah white cardstock and removed the inlay die pieces.
Laying the cover plate over the card base I sprayed the piece using a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water. The shimmer does not show in the picture, but it is very pretty IRL.

I added Nuvo adhesive to the back of the coverplate and around the edges as well as on the inside pieces then applied it to the rainbow piece.
In order to add my sentiment I added a few of the white tiles back in place and in my original Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink.

To finish I added a few gems for a bit more sparkle.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card, at no extra costs to you.
