Day 1 of Impression Obsession Holiday Card Hop

Welcome to Day 1 of the Impression Obsession Holiday Day Card Hop.

Each day, December 1st and 2nd, you will find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25.00 gift certificates for the event, so the more you comment through our Holiday Hop, the more chances you have to win!

All comments for each of the event days will be open until Tuesday, December 7th at 8:00 pm CT. All winners will be announced Wednesday November 8th on the Impression Obsession Blog.
For my card I have used the sweet Standing Deer, who has the cutest look.

Using Kraft card I die cut the deer and coloured using Copic markers. For the deer I used E15, E17, E39, with E49 on his nose and R85 in the ears. For his eyes I used Nuvo Glitter Drops in Golden Sunset.
For my background I am using Neenah Classic Crest card along with a stencil from Simple Stories and Opaque Crackle Texture paste. Once the paste was dry I sponged on the Evergreen Bough Oxide ink which I splattered with water along with Midas Touch Shimmering Pen.

I attached the dry background to my Kraft card base using foam tape.
I then put the deer together and attached it to the card base again using foam tape.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone. I did not put my stamp on correctly because just as I was closing the door to stamp, the stamp fell off on the left side, being the right side of the paper - and yep, after all is said and done, my sentiment ended up crooked!
Up next in Hop order is Laura Fulcher. Following is a list of those participating in today's hop.
Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for today's card, at no extra cost to you.
