Poinsettia and Holly

I am finally back and have some cards to share with you. I received my order from Scrapbook.com which included the two embossing folders that I am using today.

The pink and blue cards are cards I made as samples for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. The site we visited today is Perfectly Posh Boutique, and following is the picture I am using for inspiration.

For the blue card I used the blue and white from the picture, inking one side of my embossing folder, dragging the ink across lightly, which brings the ink onto the petals, then running through my Gemini Jr. I did not spritz the blue poinsettia.

To finish I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Paradise and die cut with the co-ordinating.

For the pink one below, I inked the embossing folder and spritzed with perfect pearls in gold/water mixture. You can see hints of the gold along the edges of the petals. The gold shows up much better in real life.

I die cut the sentiment using gold glitter card, with that and the sun setting as I took the picture gives it a warmer look.

For the following cards I used the Holly embossing folder along with the gold perfect pearls and water mixture.

I inked the embossing folder and spritzed heavily with the gold perfect pearl mixture. It shows up very well in real life. I then ran my ink pad across the raised portion of the card front, which added the darker green to the leaves. I also added gold splatters.

The card panel is attached using foam tape, as is the die cut tag, cut in gold metallic card. I added the gold thread, and some of Studio Katia's gold gems.

Needless to say I had a fun day making these cards and finally have my Christmas cards for 2021 underway. I don't send out cards that are the same, so it takes me awhile to get them done.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed the above cards.
