Abstract Watercolour Floral Bookmarks

Hello to you!

It is Tuesday evening, which means it is time to upload my work for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week we did Abstract Floral Bookmarks.

If you would like to see the video you can find it here.
I did two of the bookmarks, which were still wet when I photographed them. Once dry I will laminate both of them. The artist did another one in blue, but I was not particularly fussed on it, so kept it to these two.

I mixed up some colours for the one on the right, using Pyrrol Scarlet and Alizarin Crimson along with Janes Grey, Indian Red, Serpentine Genuine, Sap Green and Diopside Genuine.
For the bookmark on the left I used Quinacridone Pink, Janes Grey and Hansa Yellow.

I think they are really cute, and they would make a nice gift for a friend, especially one who loves to read, so I will be making others.

If you are wondering, they are 2x6 and 2.25x7.

Thank you for visiting today.
