Sending Paper Hugs Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap'n Stamp "Sending Paper Hugs" Blog Hop.

I am excited to share this hop with you today and would like to send everyone Hugs and thank you for joining us.

We thought everyone could use a hug, but even better, for those who order this weekend, you will receive free the Picket Fence Studios A Paper Hug stamp, while supplies last, so be sure to put "Send me a Hug" in the comments section when ordering.

We'd love for you to hop along with us and leave comments on each of the design teams blog. We will draw from those names for a $50.00 gift card to the Scrap'n Stamp store, so be sure to participate.

Now, on to my card.

For my card I decided to use Gina K Designs Heartfelt Hydrangea, which I stamped on white cardstock using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.

I wanted a soft appearance for my Hydrangea so I used pastel Copics to colour. For the flowers I used Y02, BV31, BV01, B41, and a bit of BG11. The leaves are Y02, G40, G43 and YG23. I highlighted with BG11.

Once I was done with the colouring I die cut the piece with my Penny Black Stitched Stackers Rectangle Die Set. I also die cut my matting for my card, which is a soft lavender colour.

On a white card base I attached the lavender matting. I added fun foam to the back of the floral panel and attached it to the card using Scor-pal tape. I then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

To finish I added some iridescent gems which pick up the colours in the flowers.

I am the last one for today's hop. Following is a list showing the order of the hop, in case you missed anyone.

Hello Kia, I came to your blog today because I saw your gorgeous card and I wanted to check out your sight again! Thanks for showing it at our site, so I could join in! I am going to order from this group this weekend. .I commented on all of the sights that I saw, and then I left a message on Marie's email for hers and Deborahs, as I could not find the place to comment. 11. My grandmother used to grow hydrangeas, so your beautiful bloom has kindled many treasured memories! Gorgeous card! Thank you, too, for sharing your marker palette; as a novice to copics, this certainly helps me to discover new combinations! I'm ready to colour some flowers today!
