Trees at Christmas

Hello everyone.

It has been a busy week for me, hence I did not get any cards made until today. And I probably would not have done this card had I not needed a sample card for one of the design teams that I am on.

It is a wickedly cold day in my neck of the woods, so this card is appropriate. I started with the stencilling of the trees using distress inks, then went over those trees with a light layer of embossing paste so the colour would show through. I die cut the trees and sponged on the same colour with a heavy hand, then die cut the sentiment and coloured it using glitter markers in the same colour. To put together my card, I die cut the snowbank which I attached with foam strips. I styled the trees and attached both using pop dots. To finish I added a few clear sequins in varying sizes.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy this card.
