Leaves and Flowers

 

This is "Leaves and Flowers".

I noticed this morning that there were not any birds flying around. It has me wondering about them of course, It is very cold outside though! Maybe they are are hoping it gets a bit warmer before they venture out! Usually though, nothing stops the Black-capped Chickadees!

I decided I would change the format for my photos. If you would prefet more pictures, do let me know. I was wondering if I had too many photos previously, which is my reason for changing it up a bit.

These little birdies are by Spellbinders and named "Sweet Birdie", which I think they are! I die cut some leaves so the birds have somewhere to rest, and added a few flowers for a bit of a nible.

The embossing folder is by Spellbinders and called Flowers and Foliage. It is one of my favourite folders so you have seen it before. I think I am in need of a few new ones though, so I should have a look and see if anything new catches my eye!

For the inside of my card I die cut a 1.5" piece by 5.3" and adhered it to the inside of my card along with a 5.5" piece of cardstock to fir the width. I hope that makes sense. 

It is how I would normally do the inside of my cards, using a bit of decorative card, in this case the die cut along with a plain sheet of card to write on.
