I made this card for today's Inspiration challenge at Splitcaoststampers.com using this as my inspiration piece.
Using a Scallopstack Rectangle die, I die cut a smaller piece which is what I wanted to draw the tree on, which I did using a black Sharpie marker.
To change my drawing up a bit I added red to the lights for colour, and added the heart brad to the top of the tree bringing in Valentine's Day.
I also underlined under the tree again using the red. I attached the piece to my card front using foam strips, which gives the tree a bit more dimension.
I think the delicate scallop border of the die adds softness to the tree and suits the scene it creates.
