Buddies

 

Meet "Buddies".

For the past month at least I have been making Christmas cards and decided for the Inspiration Challenge today I would make a "normal" card!

For the background I took a picture of the cushion and turned it into cardstock. I copied the background to print on white cardstock using Hammermill card.

I have not used these cute critters in a long time so I wanted to play with them today. They are by Lawn Fawn and titled "Happy Hugs".

I stamped and die cut the pieces I wanted to use then coloured using my Copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment for the bubble piece.

For the critters I used E29 Copic marker along with E04 on the tail and E41 on their faces.

I attached the critters using foam squares in 1/4 inch which I also used for the sentiment, along with Pinkfresh Ink in Sapphire.

I really do like how the background turned out. I had to give myself a pat on the back for that good idea which worked out perfectly.

The sentiment inside the card is by Gina K Designs and stamped in the same colour as the front sentiment.
