The Dude

This is "The Dude".

The second card I made for the "teen's" birthday, this is the card for the male teen. The colour green was used as it is a favourite colour.

My card base is Neenah and the background card is Hammermill. The embossing folder I used is Spellbinders Agyle Socks embossing folder.

I smooshed the background using Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks spritzed with extra water to tone down the colours a bit.

I dried the background and ran the piece through my Empress machine using the Spellbinders Argyle Socks embossing folder.

I added a second piece that was partially embossed for the inside of the card.

For the additions to the Crazy Bird I used items from Crazy Things, such as the sunglasses tucked into his feathers and the tie and party hat.

For the balloons I first stamped on the strings using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I then attached the ballonns to the card using foam tape.

Yes, I am waiting for stamps to arrive for the sentiment to finish my card. It was a fun card to make, and gave me the chance to use these fun stamps again.

I forgot to add the Copic colours I used, they are G16, C3, BG07, Y13 and YR18.
