Meet "Rainbow Coneflower".
This die set was another gift from a special friend who apologized that they were from Amazon. Say what! No apologies necessary my friend, I do understand the costs involved with this craft.
And no matter what, I always manage to have fun! I saw on Pinterest coneflowers done in the colours of the rainbow, and thought that would be perfect for this card.
First I added distress oxide in Squeezed Lemonade to my card base, applying with a heavy hand as I wanted to ensure it would show through the die.
For the grid patter I die cut a die from Pinkfresh called Scalloped Grid and glued it to the front of my card using Art Glitter glue.
I then die cut the pieces for the coneflower and coloured using Copic markers following the colours of the Rainbow, using R46, YR16, Y06, G14, B05 and V09..
To the grid I attached the flowers again using Art Glitter glue. I then stamped and die cut the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and attached it in between the flowers using thin foam squares.
To finish the front I added Pinkfresh gems in yellow around the card, adding five (5) of the gems around the card.
For the inside of my card I added a piece of Hammermill card along with the Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide ink.
I finished by stamping the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I certainly enjoyed making this card, it was so fun to do something different.
Thank you for visiting with me today.
