Loving Autumn

Meet "Loving Autumn".

As I have said many times before, Autumn is the best time of year for me. I can breathe for one thing, something most take for granted but I dare say I suffer in the summer.

In any event, for my card today I did some stencil work along with the die cut pumpkin. For the stenciling I used a variety of colours, depending on the leaf.

I then filled in the ground level with Pinkfresh Ink in Marigold. I think that may be the first time I have used that colour and I must say, I really like it.

I then coloured up the Pumpkin die, which is by Spellbinders and called Jack-O-Lantern, and placed it on foam squares, over top of the background of leaves.

The stem should be darker than it is, which I did not notice until it was already on. I don't trust myself to add more colour to it, so it stays!

To finish up the front of my card in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Pinkfresh Ink in Gathered Twigs.

On the inside of the card I added a piece of card at 4x5.25" where I placed the Marigold ink pad sliding it across a bit so I had ink coverage, then stamped the sentiment again using Gathered Twigs.

Thank you for joining me today. Yes, it does not feel like fall, but one can always wish I say!

See you next time.
