Watercolour Flowers

This is "Watercolour Flowers".

For this card I am using Pinkfresh Floral Trio stamp and die set which I watercoloured using a mix of watercolours, such as Winsor Newton, Schmincke etc.

First however, I picked In The Navy by Gina K Designs for my card base. I embossed the centre column of the card using Spellbinders Flowers and Foliage embossing folder.

I glued on the centre embossed piece attaching it to the card base using Art Glitter glue. I did consider using foam tape, but I really did not think it would add anything to the look of the card.

For my colours I mixed up the manufacturer's a bit, using Windsor Newton in Orange/Red, Daniel Smith Cadmium Yellow, Windsor Newton Orange, Windsor Newton Violet Dioxazine and Schmincke May Green along with Cadmium Yellow Light.

I did a few layers of watercolour to get the colours as I wanted.

I wanted some of the colours to be lighter and some darker, which I think I achieved in my watercolour. Once I was finished painting I let the piece dry then die cut the floral using the coordinating dies.

To finished up the front of the card I added yellow gems by Pinkfresh to the front of the card using Art Glitter glue to attach.

I finished up the inside of the card using a simple sentiment from the set along with VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
