Meet "Chirps".
This adorable set is by Waffle Flower and called Birdie-Duo Die'n Stencil. To stencil I used Pinkfresh inks in Fruit Punch, Blue Jay, Detailed Black and Sunshine.
I wanted a floral background for the birds, but not with colour which I felt would distract from the two birds, so I went with the all white.
This embossing folder is called Flowers and Foliage, and I think works perfectly with a card using birds on the cover.
I die cut three each of the birds and glued them together for added dimension on my card, then added the stencil colours.
Using my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Neenah card and glued the piece to the front of my card using Art Glitter glue.
To attach the birds I first added foam squares to the card, then attached the birds in place with them looking at each other.
This makes me smile, as I type this my little Kiwi is singing away, which given everything he went through is a miracle!
When I add embossed pieces inside the card I will also attach a piece of card such as Neenah, for my signature on the card.
I want the best of both worlds!!
Thank you so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
