Meet "My Family".
Yes, I am a lover of all animals, so bunnies and especially birds are members of my family! This set is from Colorado Craft Company and called Bunny & Duckling.
I printed on a postcard which had a lot of interest which I thought would look great with my images. And as I was colouring with Copic markers I knew it would not be a problem regarding covering the blue.
For my colours I used YR23, YR24; Y13, Y35; E97, E99 and YR18 on the duck's feet and bill.
I stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, and yes after I stamped the sentiment on the front of my card I noticed it was not aligned properly! Grrrrr on me.
In order for me to have two panels to use on my card I scanned one of the cards and printed it out. It sure is handy to have a printer at home that prints well.
I have to say I just love that little ducky and how he/she looks lovingly up at the Bunny. Too cute for words.
To finish up my colouring I added a bit more colour to the Bunny, focusing on the back of him.
For the inside I stamped another sentiment which is from the Bunny & Duckling set. I also added a few flowers in the yellow colours for further interest.
Thank you for visiting with me today. The picture above looks darker than the others, but it is only because I don't have it aiming at the window for this shot!
See you next time.
I love whimsical cards. They always put a smile on someone's face when they open it. Know matter what the occasion.
