This is "Balloon Birthday".
The dies are by Sunny Studios and called Bright Balloons. I die cut two of each design of balloon, some from coffee cardstock that was in my stash, and others that I coloured using Copics in YR16.
When die cutting I also die cut the hightlights at the same time, and attached them to the balloons using art glitter glue.
I found the leaf background in my stash from a previous play using my gel press. I decided I liked the look of this, so cut it in half and used a piece for the front of my card and a piece for the inside.
I arranged the design and found the best look was having the two solids on the right side of the card. This seemed strange to me, but I let it go.
Once I was happy with the look, I glued everything in place using art glitter glue and foam strips. I also added two bows to the arrangement using twine that I coloured orange using the Copic marker.
I then stamped the sentiments on the front and inside the card using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne in both cases.
I liked the look of the completed card, and I hope you do as well.
Thank you for joining me today.
See you next time.
