Ahoy Matey

Meet "Ahoy Matey!".

I am behind as this is the June '25 release. The stamps and dies are by Spellbinders and called Anchors Away, The embossing folder is called Nautical Knots and the small die of the month is called Shipmates.

I used coloured cardstock to cut the pieces I needed. The pipe I cut from gold metalic cardstock. I attached the images using foam tape and strips.

The flag is doubled, i.e. two pieces of red cardstock, one being smaller than the bottom piece. He cracks me up I have to say, too cute!

For the sentiment, including the ones inside the card, in my Misti I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and die cut the one for the front of the card using the coordinating dies.

The sentiments and the Anchor inside the card come with the set of sentiments. I coloured the Anchor using grey watercolour.

The background embossing folder is fabulous! I can see getting alot of use for this folder throughout the summer months.

I did not have any grey cardstock so I coloured up a piece of white card using distress oxide ink in Hickory Smoke.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I do hope you enjoy this card.

See you next time.
