Happy Vibes

 

Meet "Happy Vibes".

This is my second card using the stamp from LDRS Creative called In the Garden. For this card I coloured using Copic markers instead of inks, stamping intially using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.

The colours I used for the leaves are G07, YG09 and G03. For the flowers I used BG13, BG15, BG32 along with Y08 and Y19. To hightlight around the stamp I used BG45.

The Copic colouring went a lot quicker then the stencil work did, and I do prefer to colour using my Copics as there are many colours available.

It does not show very well, but there are two yellow colours used being the Y08 and Y19, which I also used for the flower centres. I thought this would brighten the overall design.

I also found that by adding the BG45 around the stamp it too adds to the overall brightness.

For the sentiments I am using Pinkfresh Happy Vibes stamp along with the coodinating dies. I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

On the inside of my card I stamped a partal piece of the stamp, again using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.

Using the coordinating die I cut the sentiment and glued it in place on the inside of my card.

I very much like the colours of this card, and I hope you like it as well.
