Your Light

 

Meet "Your Light".

I was very much in the mood for stenciling this morning, which I am sure had something to do with me spending the weekend doing stencils for A Colorful Life Designs. Always so much fun!

I did the stencil work using Distress Oxide inks using the following colours: Abandoned Coral, Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade.

This stencil is called Ringed Daisies and I found it is fun to colour. I did not apply the inks consistent in colour, instead applying what I thought would look good to the eye.

For the sentiment I used an older one by Pinkfresh called Always Uplifting. It has many great sayings/sentiments and I should have used it more often.

I stamped this sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne which stands apart from the balance of the inking.

I see in a couple of spots I strayed with the inks. I did covery up everything that was not part of what I wanted to colour, and still I managed to add ink where it did not belong!

I suppose I could fix it so it did not show in the picture but that does not sit well with me, we all make mistakes so I think I should own it!

I finished up the inside with another one of the sentiments from the Always Uplifting set and know just the person to send this too!
